Celebrating Nottingham
For the first time in 2005 at Focus Gallery, Nick Hedderly exhibited a set of work solely inspired by Nottingham views and settings. In addition to the urban Nottingham environment he was also influenced by the work of Nottingham poet Rosie Garner. For the exhibition Hedderly selected poems by Rosie Garner which were displayed together with the paintings - both the images and poems drawing inspiration from the city and its different urban aspects.
