Early Flower Paintings & Sublime Landscapes

Nick Hedderly's early work during the 1980's was largely based on studies and monoprints of flowers at night and also on the northern romantic concept of the 'sublime' landscape.  The flower paintings and works almost exclusively employed a square format.  This has remained popular with the painter - with his more recent urban landscapes employing the same square format.
